The president of Bosnia's Social Democratic Party (SDP), Zlatko Lagumdzija, said on Thursday this party would begin the formation of the new government in the Croat-Bosniak Federation entity on March 3 with those who wanted to take part in it and that it would not allow obstruction of the functioning of the entity, the SDP said.
Lagumdzija said the SDP would begin on March 3 the formation of the Federation's upper and lower houses of parliament, elect the entity's president and vice presidents, and adopt a budget.
He said the SDP would do that in cooperation with the Party of Democratic Action, the Croatian Party of Rights, and the Prosperity Through Work Party if those who were blocking this process did not want to join in.
"We won't let those who are losing privileges and power to cause chaos in the country," Lagumdzija said, alluding to the Croat parties HDZ BiH and HDZ 1990.
He said the two HDZ parties had two weeks to decide if and how they wanted to participate in the government.
