HDZ official says has evidence that protesters received money

We have information and concrete names that protesters in Radiceva Street were given HRK 250 each, spokesman for the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) caucus Frano Matusic, said on Wednesday adding that he stood by his claims that that he would forward all information to relevant institutions.

"We have information that protesters in Radiceva Street received HRK 250 each, that Social Democratic Party (SDP) senior officials held talks with organisers of the protests in Split and that Radimir Cacic of the Croatian People's Party (HNS) met with the organiser of the protest, Zeljko Sacic. I'm standing by my statements and I will back them up with evidence," Matusic told a news conference in parliament.

We have information from the field and we will support our allegations with evidence, Matusic said at the news conference.

He said that also available to him is information that the SDP officials had been meeting with organisers of the Split protests.
