Croatia's Kostelic 1st, Zrncic-Dim 2nd in Chamonix

Alpine skiing World Cup leader Ivica Kostelic of Croatia won a super-combined event in Chamonix, France, on Sunday, which was his seventh season and 18th career victory.

Kostelic finished with a winning total of 2 minutes 57.12 seconds from a downhill and a slalom run each.

Compatriot Natko Zrncic-Dim finished second in 2:57.63, while former World Cup winner Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway placed third in 2:57.65 minutes.

Kostelic leads the World Cup rankings with 1,178 points, followed by Switzerland's Silvan Zurbriggen, who has 703, and Didier Cuche, also a Swiss, who has 673 points.
