Commenting on the statement by Chief State Prosecutor Mladen Bajic that the government's proposal to parliament to enact a law declaring null and void certain documents of the former Yugoslav People's Army (JNA), the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) and Serbia would be detrimental because war criminals would hide behind it, Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor said on Thursday evening this was not correct because the law was an attempt to prevent intolerable spreading of the jurisdiction of one country to the area of another.

Kosor compared the fight against war criminals to the fight against corruption, stressing that it was her government's position that all war criminals must be brought to justice and that Croatia has zero tolerance for war crimes.
