Dinamo boss Vahid Halilhodzic says that he has no intention of leaving the Croatian champion. The Modri boss has stated that he is very satisfied with his current status and the ties he’s built in Croatian football.

‘In these past four months, I’ve had very good offers, but I rejected all of them. I would have done this even if someone had offered me a dream job,’ said Halilhodzic in an interview for the Dnevni Avaz daily of Sarajevo, responding to a question from the press on whether he’d leave Maksimir 128 if he were to receive a rich offer.

Vaha said that taking charge of Dinamo and getting the club into the Chapmpions League is an immense challenge, but that he’d never feared such tests.

‘The greater the challenge, the more attractive it is,’ the Dinamo boss said.

Commenting his team’s progress, Halilhodzic believes that he has done a lot. When taking over in August, Dinamo trailed archrivals Hajduk by three points, but now leads the title race by five, and he has also done more than expected in the Europa League.

Asked whether he was surprised by the abuse from the stands in stadiums across Croatia, the Bosnian expert said that, as in all countries, the terraces reflect the state of society.

‘Nationalist and fascist messages need to be nipped in the bud. This is cannot be tolerated,’ Halilhodzic concluded.
