Three unions active in Croatia Airlines (CA) announced on Friday that the national air carrier's employees would begin a strike on May 14 which would last until their demands were met, the most important being the retaining of all rights acquired under last year's collective agreement.
The company said the strike would mean only a partial disruption of transport and that most passengers would be transported under the CA flight schedule, while the rest would be transferred by partner companies' planes.
Union representative Zoran Bilic said the strike would begin at 6 a.m. and that the three unions had about 600 members in total.
