The State Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina has received, via the Bosnian Justice Ministry, a request from the Croatian Justice Ministry for the enforcement of the final prison sentence against Branimir Glavas, and the case is already in the procedure, a court officials confirmed on Friday.

Spokeswoman for the court Selma Hadzic said a trial chamber would first examine the entire case and then schedule a hearing at which all parties would present their positions.

"After that the trial chamber will make the final decision," Hadzic said.

The trial chamber of the State Court of Bosnia Herzegovina is expected to uphold or possible change the eight year prison sentence ruled by the Croatian Supreme Court which found Glavas guilty of war crimes committed in the eastern Croatian town of Osijek in 1991.

Glavas will have the right to appeal the Bosnian State Court's decision.
