Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha pledged assistance of EUR 400,000 for the Serb enclave of Gracanica in Kosovo, the Pristina-based press in the Albanian language reported on Thursday.
A delegation of Kosovo Serbs, led by Kosovo Parliament presidency member,Slobodan Petrovic, that has been on an official visit to Albania since Tuesday,held meetings with top Albanian officials, including President Bamir Topi andPM Berisha.
Berisha and the Kosovo Serb delegation held a joint news conference.
The media quoted Berisha as saying that Albania would financially assist thenewly-established municipality of Gracanica with the predominantly Serbpopulation.
Berisha expressed his hope that Serbia's President would soon visit Tirana.
