The president of the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, Joseph Cinque, on Wednesday awarded Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic and the City of Zagreb with the "Star Diamond Award" for excellence in services in tourism.
The City of Zagreb was bestowed with the award from this New York-headquartered academy for its success in environment protection as well as in providing safety and security for residents.
At today's award-giving ceremony, the academy's leaders praised Zagreb for the arrangement of Bundek Lake and for the safety and security in the city.
