On the second day of the European Karate Championships in Zurich on Saturday, Croatia's Jelena Kovacevic won a silver medal, bringing the number of Croatian awards at the event to five, including the four bronzes won on Friday.
This was the third time in a row that Kovacevic made it to the European Championship finals. Today she was defeated 3-1 by Ilievska of Macedonia.
Kovacevic won the champion's title in Zagreb two years ago.
