Kostelic second in World Cup slalom in Adelboden

Croatia's best male Alpine skier Ivica Kostelic on Sunday won second place in a World Cup slalom race in Adelboden, Switzerland, finishing the race with a time of 1:58.93.

Marcel Hirscher of Austria was first, with a time of 1.58.66, while Stephano Gross of Italy was third with 1:59.65.

After today's slalom, Hirscher continues to hold the top position in the overall ranking, with 725 points, followed by Kostelic with 495 points and Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway with 456 points.

In the slalom ranking, Kostelic has kept the top position with 385 points, followed by Hirscher with 360 points and Cristian Deville of Italy with 230 points.
