Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) representatives Jadranka Kosor and Vladimir Seks were on Friday unanimously elected as Deputy Speakers of the seventh parliament coming from the ranks of the Opposition.
Another three Deputy Speakers -- Social Democrats Josip Leko and Nenad Stazic and Milorad Batinic of the Croatian People's Party (HNS) -- were elected on Thursday.
MPs also unanimously endorsed the proposal by the Credentials and Privileges Commission that Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) leader Josip Friscic freeze his parliamentary mandate and be replaced by Damir Bajs of the HSS.
