Government to sell 40pct of shares in Telekom Srbija

The Serbian government on Friday decided to sell 40 percent of the "Telekom Srbija" company on the international market, and the first step will be to announce an international tender for choosing the consultant in this job.

The state owns 80 percent of the Telekom Srbijam and the remaining 20 per cent is in the hands of the Greek OTE company, co-owned by the Deutsche Telekom, according to reports in the the Serbian media on this matter on Friday

Finance Ministry State Secretary Slobodan Ilic was quoted by the media as saying that activities for this purpose would begin next week,
