Five unions representing social welfare workers, teachers and road workers issued a statement on Friday in which they called on their members, other unions and all discontented citizens to join in anti-government protests in their towns.
The basic condition for political change is elections at which citizens will be able to choose politicians and political parties that have the competence, desire and strength to get Croatia out of the crisis, the statement said.
