The Mayor of Zagreb, Milan Bandic, said in the Croatian Television political talk show "Nedjeljom u 2" on Sunday that there was a possibility that he would run in the next parliamentary elections as a representative of "the third way".

Bandic, a former member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) who lost the last presidential elections to Ivo Josipovic, said his decision was based on his work as mayor in the last ten years and on his experience in the last presidential elections.

At the appropriate moment and with appropriate people I will do my best to offer, as an alternative to the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and the SDP, additional hope, security, unity and responsibility, said Bandic, who won 900,000 votes in the runoff race for President of Croatia in January this year.
