Former Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor told the Ljubljana-based Delo daily which hit newsstands on Monday that Ljubljanska Banka must not be a reason for blocking Croatia's EU entry scheduled for 1 July, calling on Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic and his Slovenian counterpart Janez Jansa to resolve this issue, and highlighting their critical role in this.

"The Ljubljanska Banka issue must not be the cause for a new Slovenian blockade and the threats made by Jelko Kacin. I am confident that this issue should be dealt with by politicians, based on the proposal of experts. Prime ministers Milanovic and Jansa must show courage and make a decision on the solution model," Kosor told the Slovenian daily
