The Day of Esteemed Guests event was held on Tuesday within the "Black Bear 10" international exercise of military police units at the Gasinci training area in eastern Croatia.

The military exercise, which is being held from 13 to 22 September at the Gasinci range, has brought together 305 military police officers from Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.

It is part of a NATO Multinational Military Police Battalion (MNMPBAT) exercise.

This is the biggest manoeuvre of military police in Europe this year, and the first large-scale exercise of Croatia's military police since the country joined NATO.

The Croatian Armed Forces' deputy chief-of-staff, Rear Admiral Zdenko Simicic, told reporters that all components of the Croatian Armed Force had participated in international military exercises so far and that they were ready to join NATO in performing shared tasks.
