National Bank (HNB) governor Zeljko Rohatinski said on Friday he was not getting into politics and that his priority was to responsibly finish his term of office in the central bank.
Asked about the veracity of announcements in some media that he would state today if he would run in the coming parliamentary election or not, Rohatinski said: "Although I said recently that all options were open, entering politics never represented a desirable solution for me. On the contrary, I have underlined a number of times that my priority is to responsibly finish the term at the HNB and then work in the private sector. That's what I will do."
