All guests are welcome in Croatia, regardless of the country they are coming from, there are no first class guests and all guests must be treated equally, the Croatian Tourism Ministry said in a statement on Thursday, reacting to an article published by a local weekly "Makarsko Primorje" in which guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina were mentioned in a negative context.
The said article in "Makarsko Primorje" weekly described tourists from Bosnia, who are arriving for a day-long trips, as "guests who are only in the way, but whom you cannot avoid nor eliminate."
The ministry reiterated that tourists from Bosnia were more than welcome in Croatia.
