Even after Wednesday evening's meeting of Croatian and Slovenian Foreign Ministers Vesna Pusic and Karl Erjavec it remains unclear what kind of an alternative solution to the Ljubljanska Banka issue can be found and the plan to find a final solution in February is "pretty ambitious" time wise, Slovenian Television said on Wednesday evening.
The Slovenian media cited Pusic and Erjavec as saying after their meeting in Brussels on Wednesday evening that it was possible to find a solution for the issue of the now defunct Ljubljanska Banka during February, which would pave the way for the ratification of Croatia's Treaty of Accession with the European Union in the Slovenian parliament.
However, after the meeting, which can be defined as step forward, the two ministers were very brief in their statements to the press and did not reveal what kind of an alternative solution the two countries could find, said a correspondent for Slovenian Television from Brussels.
