Polling stations opened at 7am Sunday throughout Serbia for a run-off election for Serbian president. Voters can cast their ballots for pro-Western incumbent Boris Tadic or rightist Tomislav Nikolic.
A total of 6,771,479 eligible voters can cast ballots at 8,390 polling stations throughout the country and 38 in 22 foreign countries until 8 pm today when the polling stations will be closed.
The first election round was held on 6 May, together with parliamentary, regional and local election.
Under the Serbian Constitution, president can be elected to a two consecutive five-year terms. This is the third time that Tadic and Nikolic are going head to head in a run-off election for Serbian president.
The official results will be released by 2000 hours Thursday, 24 May.
