The first hearing in the trial of Dragan Paravinja, suspected of attempting to rape and killing Antonia Bilic, an underage girl, in the Drnis area on 7 June 2011 will be held at the Sibenik County Court on March 1, his court-appointed attorney Branko Baica told the press on Tuesday.
He added that it was still unknown if the trial would be open to the public.
Paravinja is suspected of attempting to rape a girl in the Omis area as well.
He was returned to a prison in Sibenik from Bosnia and Herzegovina last week. In December, the East Sarajevo District Court convicted him to two years and ten months in jail for a rape committed in 2002.
