The questioning of Ratko Mladic by an investigating judge in the War Crimes Chamber of the High Court in Belgrade was suspended on Thursday evening because of his poor health, his lawyer Milos Saljic told reporters.

Deputy war crimes prosecutor Bruno Vekaric said that the questioning would resume on Friday.

The chairman of the National Council for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal, Rasim Ljajic, was quoted by the B92 web portal as saying that during his arrest on Thursday morning Mladic had two pistols on his person, but did not offer resistance.
