Kostelic wins Wengen slalom race for third consecutive year

Croatia's best Alpine skier Ivica Kostelic won a men's World Cup slalom race in Wengen, Switzerland, on Sunday for the third consecutive year and for the fourth time in his career.

Sweden's Andre Myhrer came second, while Fritz Dopfer of Germany finished third.

In the overall World Cup rankings, Austrian Marcel Hirscher leads with 725 points, Kostelic follows closely with 695 points, and Swiss Beat Feuz is third with 545 points.
In the slalom rankings, Kostelic leads with 485 points, followed by Hirscher with 360 points and Myhrer with 295 points.
