Kostelic 10th in men's World Cup giant slalom race

Croatia's best skier, Ivica Kostelic, came tenth in the men's World Cup giant slalom race in Adelboden, Switzerland on Saturday with a time of 2:44.67.

Marcel Hirscher of Austria came first (2:42.50), Benjamin Raich of Austria was second (2:42.58) and Massimiliano Blardone of Italy was third (2:42.60).

Kostelic scored 26 points today and is now fourth in the men's overall World Cup standings with 415 points. Hirscher is first with 625 points.

In the giant slalom standings, Kostelic is 17th with 98 points. Ted Ligety of the US is first with 380 points.
