Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor confirmed in Meise, outside Brussels, on Thursday that she was preparing a cabinet reshuffle, declining to speak about concrete names.
"We are heading in that direction, but you have to understand that it would be entirely inappropriate to tell you anything before I talk to my colleagues in the party and the coalition partners. I am talking about it, the final decision is up to me and I believe that at the end of that path we will be satisfied, most of all Croatian citizens," Kosor told reporters when asked who would leave the government and who wold join her cabinet after the announced changes.
Kosor also declined to comment on the scandal the media have been writing about, concerning Finance Minister Ivan Suker being in conflict of interest.
"I don't know anything about that and honestly I cannot comment on absolutely anything. As far as the media are concerned, you know this always needs to be verified ten times".
Kosor attended an European People's Party (EPP) summit in Meise near Brussels, traditionally held ahead each EU summit.
