Today’s leading acid jazz and funk band, Jamiroquai, headed by the charismatic Jay Kay, is the latest act to confirm their show at the T-Mobile INmusic Festival

Jamiroquai released their 7th studio album last November, Rock Dust Light Star, which fully justified fan loyalty and which, in addition to songs from earlier in their career, will be presented to the Zagreb crowd at the T-Mobile festival.

The jazz funk and acid band was formed in 1992 as one of the leading London acid jazz movement. Their single “When You Gonna Learn” launched them to stardom and a contract with Sony followed. Their first album under Sony was 1993’s “Emergency on Planet Earth”

More attention came with the release of “The Return of the Space Cowboy”, but the true breakthrough followed “Travelling without Moving” in 1997, which brought them a Grammy.

In 2007 Jamrioquai started work on their seventh album as well as on side projects and after a five year hiatus came out with “Rock Dust Light Show” in late-2010 with a sound that marked a return to their signature combination of organic soul and Jamiroquai’s characteristic disco funk sound.

With over 30 million albums sold and 192 weeks on the UK Singles Chart from 1992 to 2006, 13 nominations for the Brit Awards and a Grammy in their trophy case, there is no doubt that Jamiroquai will thrill the Zagreb audience.

Tickets for the T-Mobile INmusic festival are available for 290 kuna until April 14 in all T-Centers in Croatia.
