The first day of voting for Croatia's seventh parliament at polling stations outside the country, where 411,758 Croatian nationals with no permanent residence in Croatia can vote for their three representatives in the Sabor, saw 9,342 of them do so at 124 polling stations in 52 countries, the State Election Commission said on Saturday night.
The biggest turnout was in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where 5,643 voters went to the 30 polling places in Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla and Banja Luka by 7pm Saturday.
In Germany, the turnout was 2,402.
The polling stations for out-of-country voting will reopen at 7am on Sunday and close at 7pm.
In Croatia, the vote will be held Sunday.
The Commission also said it received reports about three election blackout breaches abroad and one committed in Constituency No. 7 in Croatia.
The breaches abroad, involving the distribution of leaflets, were committed by the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which received a warning from the Commission.
The report about the breach in Constituency No. 7 was made by the coalition comprising the Pensioners Together Bloc, the Primorje-Gorski Kotar Alliance and the Croatian Workers Party, about the distribution of leaflets defaming one of their candidates.
