The Office for the Suppression of Corruption and Organised Crime (USKOK) on Friday indicted Dubrovnik Mayor Andro Vlahusic of abuse of office for unlawfully lending HRK 1 million in city money to a company owned by ruling coalition partner Pero Vican, who was accused of inciting Vlahusic to commit the abuse.

On its website, USKOK mentioned only the initials of the accused and their ages, saying it filed the indictments with the Split County Court.

Vican's independent slate, the Social Democratic Party and Vlahusic's Croatian People's Party constitute the ruling majority in the Dubrovnik City Council.
