Zlatan Ibrahimovic showed he can create goals just as well as score them by setting up all four as Paris Saint-Germain secured an emphatic 4-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in Group A of the Champions League on Tuesday.

PSG took the lead in the 16th minute following some panicky defending in the Dinamo penalty area. The former Milan star helped his team step up a level after the break and showed sublime skill to tee up two goals in four minutes just past the hour mark. First Blaise Matuidi tucked home from eight yards before Jeremy Menez collected a pass and slalomed into the area to coolly convert. Ibrahimovic then turned provider once again 10 minutes from time, giving Guillaume Hoarau the chance to round off a resounding triumph.

The result means Carlo Ancelotti's team are now within touching distance of the last 16 and leaves Zagreb pointless after suffering a 10th straight loss in the Champions League.

PSG has nine points in Group A, one less than Porto, and is on the verge of reaching the knockout stages.

Dinamo Zagreb lost all six games last season, conceding a record 22 goals, and has conceded 10 without scoring one in this campaign.

The match was trouble free despite fears of more fan violence.

Twenty-eight people were arrested the night before the match after a brawl in central Paris between PSG and Dinamo hooligans. At least two people were injured in the fight near the Bastille.

The Croatian fans weren't allowed to buy tickets for the Tuesday match and were banned from France amid fears of hooliganism.

The atmosphere around Parc des Princes was tense before the match, with police cordoning off several areas and monitoring the people coming out of subway stations.

About 100 PSG supporters were turned back from the Croatian border ahead of the Oct. 24 match to head off similar problems.
