INA's management on Tuesday considered the proposals of the three Croatian members sitting on the company's board about models how to run the company and about its management structure, but the voting was not held as the proposals should be further elaborated, the company's public relations service said in a press release.

The proposal were about amending the relations between the managing board and executive directors and about the frequency of convening the board's meetings. It was concluded that the proposals should be further elaborated before a formal vote on them, according to the press release after today's meeting which was convened upon the request of the three Croatian members.

According to some informal reports, the INA board chairman, Zoltan Aldott, had strongly reacted to the proposals and claims by the three Croatian members that they were being marginalised in the decision-making process.

Those three members -- Niko Dalic, Ivan Kresic and Davor Mayer -- also request the adjustment of the management's internal documents to the Croatian Companies Act.

The press release reads that the management believes that in this state there is no need to change the rules for the company's work. The management , however, will consider possibilities for the further upgrading of the company's efficiency and performance, according to the press release.
