Bosnian Federation President Zivko Budimir, who was recently arrested on corruption charges, was released from the Mostar penitentiary around 2200 hours Friday, announcing he would continue to perform his duty.

Budimir spend about 20 days in prison after he was arrested in April.

He declined to comment on allegations that the case against him was politically motivated.

Budimir and four other persons are suspected of receiving or giving bribes to secure pardons for convicts which Budimir then signed.
