Serbian President Boris Tadic will next week visit the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar, including the Ovcara memorial site and Paulin Dvor, the Office of the Serbian President said on Tuesday.

The former Yugoslav People's Army and paramilitary units killed 200 Croats at the Ovcara farm, near Vukovar, in November 1991, while members of the Croatian Army killed 19 Serb civilians in Paulin Dvor outside Osijek, in late 1991.

Tadic's visit to Croatia, scheduled for early November, had already been announced by his office and the Office of Croatian President Ivo Josipovic. However, no specific date was revealed then, it was only announced that the visit would take place in the coming days.

The media in Belgrade reported earlier that during his visit to Croatia, Tadic would hold talks with President Josipovic and other Croatian top officials, as well as with representatives of Croatian Serbs.

Josipovic officially visited Belgrade in mid-July, when the Serbian president announced the possibility of visiting Vukovar.
