Results of preparations for pope's visit to Croatia presented

The results of the preparations for the visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Croatia were presented on Saturday at the second session of the Zagreb Archdiocese's committee for the pontiff's pastoral visit, the Archdiocese's press office said in a statement.

The committee chairman, msgr. Mijo Gorski, said the faithful will soon receive the Croatian bishops' letter and a prayer that will be said in parishes and communities as part of the preparations for the pope's visit and the National Encounter of Croatian Catholic families.

Pope Benedict XVI will make a pastoral visit to Croatia on June 4 and 5, 2011

The pontiff will stay in Zagreb on the occasion of the National Encounter of Croatian Catholic Families and on this occasion pray at the tomb of the Blessed Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac.
