Over 40 cyclists from Mostar, Siroki Brijeg, Capljina and other towns in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as their colleagues from the Croatian towns of Vukovar and Zupanja departed from Mostar, southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Sunday morning for Vukovar in order to commemorate war victims, notably to pay respect to the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar, that has become a byword for sufferings from war-times, the organisers of the tour said.

The bike tour under the slogan "Don't Let Us Forget", will stop in Kiseljak and Zepce, central Bosnia, as well as in Orasje in northern Bosnia before reaching Vukovar.

Last year, Mostar and Vukovar signed a town-twinning charter, and the tour organisers said they would like to contribute to the development of the relations between the two communities.
