The parliamentary opposition on Wednesday asked, for the fourth time, that Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor address MPs about the political situation in the country, after which a ten-minute recess was called.

Zoran Milanovic of the Social Democratic Party said he was asking for a recess over the political situation in Zagreb and in the state, a request also made by Damir Kajin of the Istrian Democratic Party (IDS).

We are asking that the prime minister finally address us and say if the government has the situation under control and what its relationship is with the central bank and the president's office, and to respond to other current questions, said Kajin.

The parliamentary groups of the Croatian People's Party, the Croatian Pensioners Party, the HDSSB and the ruling Croatian Democratic Union also asked for a recess.
