Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic, whoarrived in Zagreb on Monday for a two-day official visit to Croatia, was welcomed by his host, Croatian President Ivo Josipovic.
After a welcome ceremony, the two heads of state started talks, after which the two countries' delegations are expected to join them.
Josipovic officially visited Montenegro in July 2010, when the two countries' heads of state agreed cooperation between Croatia and Montenegro was improving on all fronts.
Vujanovic then wished Croatia would join the European Union as soon as possible, thanking Zagreb for sharing its experience from Euro-Atlantic integration processes with Podgorica. Vujanovic also expressed his deep respect for the Croatian president and his activities aimed at promoting tolerance and good-neighbourly relations with all countries in the region.
Croatia and Montenegro established diplomatic relations with Montenegro in July 2006.
