Deputy Prime Minister Neven Mimica told Nova TV commercial television that chances for Croatia to keep its credit rating were the same as its chances to lose it, adding that the announced credit rating downgrade in some European Union countries did not create a favorable, optimistic environment for the assessment of Croatia's rating.
The criteria for evaluating a country's credit rating is not only a GDP growth or a GDP decline but a more dynamic assessment of the overall sustainability of fiscal budgetary projections, sustainability of income and expenditure, which Croatia can most definitely maintain this year, Mimica told Nova TV.
