Sime Sucic, aka Suco, (51), a good friend of the mayor of Split, Zeljko Kerum, was brutally beaten in the Monday morning in front of his apartment in Pozeska Street in Split.
According to the police information, Sucic was beaten at about 4.30 am by a group of men with baseball bats and sustained head and body injuries.
He was admitted to a hospital in Split with the nasal bone fracture. He claims he has no idea who attacked him, or why it happened.
Sucic is well known, among other things, for frequent socializing with the Split mayor Zeljko Kerum. Few years ago he even tattooed the Kerum’s head on his chest. In early nineties, Sucic fired a shot from a pistol at his girlfriend at the time, wounded her in the lower abdomen, but, fortunately, she survived.
