The Internet search engine Google on Saturday marked Croatian Independence Day by posting Croatian state symbols on its home page.
By posting Croatian national symbols on its home page, the Google Internet company, headquartered in California, marked Croatia's Independence Day in memory of 8 October 1991, when the Croatian Parliament unanimously passed a decision to sever all ties with the former Socialist Yugoslavia.
