Concrete tile damaged in minor explosion in Zagreb's main square

Only one concrete tile was damaged in the explosion that occurred in Zagreb's main square, Trg Bana Jelacica, early Wednesday morning, the city's Emergency Management Office said in a statement.

The Office said it had given footage of the square to the police for investigation purposes, adding that after the investigation it would be clear what kind of an explosive device was used.

Police said earlier that a minor explosion occurred in Trg Bana Jelacica square at 0225 hours and that no one was hurt and no property damage was done.

The on-site investigation is under way.
