The questioning of the Bosnian Serb wartime mayor of Trebinje, Bozidar Vucurevic, before the High Court in Sabac, which started on Monday after the court received a request from Croatia for Vucurevic's extradition, ended after Vucurevic refuted all allegations from the indictment.

Spokesman for the court in Sabac Slobodan Velisavljevic told press the hearing ended but declined to reveal other details.

Vucurevic was arrested at a Serbian-Bosnian border crossing last Monday and was placed in custody.

Croatia wants Vucurevic for his role in the shelling of the southern coastal city of Dubrovnik during the 1991-1995 war. In 2008, the Dubrovnik County Prosecutor's Office indicted him for war crimes against civilians and the destruction of cultural monuments.

The extradition procedure will be conducted in accordance with the European Convention on Extradition and the Agreement on Extradition between Croatia and Serbia.
