The 18th edition of the Split Film Festival will be held from 14 to 21 September under the slogan "Responsibility-Optimism-Tolerance" with 82 films to be screened.
The festival's public relations service reported that there would be 34 feature and 48 short films.
The festival will give a special award to Peter Kubelka, an Austrian experimental filmmaker, for his contribution to this art.
Split Film Festival is taking part in the project "Times Square’s Midnight Moment Goes Global". Times Square Arts and Streaming Museum brings Times Square Digital Gallery to screens on seven continents in 2013.
