Natko Zrncic Dim of Croatia won the third place in a World Cup super-G race at Beaver Creek, USA, on Friday.

Natko Zrncic Dim of Croatia won thethird place in a World Cup super-G race at Beaver Creek, USA, on Friday.

Carlo Janka of Switzerland was first and his compatriot Didier Defagosecond.

This is the third time Zrncic Dim has won the third place in the Alpine SkiWorld Cup. Last season, he was third in the combined event at Kitzbuehel, andin February 2008 he was third in the super G at Val d'Isere.

Zrncic Dim also won a bronze in the super G in this year's World Cup at Vald'Isere.

Croatia's best male Alpine skier Ivica Kostelic did not take part inFriday's race due to a back injury.
