Kostelic wins combined event in Kitzbeuhel

Croatia's best skier Ivica Kostelic won the men's combined event in the World Cup in Kitzbeuhel on Sunday.

The combined event included Saturday's downhill and Sunday's slalom in thatAustrian mountainous resort.

Kostelic, thus, notched his second win in the ongoing World Cup, after healready won a slalom in Wengen.

This is also Kostelic's 11th victory in his career in the World Cup in theAlpine skiing.

As regards today's slalom race, Felix Neureuther was the winner. FrenchJulien Lizeroux and Italian Giuliano Razzoli finished as second and third.Kostelic made the seventh best time.

As regards the combined event, Kostelic was followed by Swiss SilvanZurbriggen and Austrian Benjamin Raich.

Croatia's Nato Zrncic-Dim was fifth-ranked in the combined event.
