Interior Minister Tomislav Karamarko has signed a decision to offer a reward of HRK 100,000 for information leading to the identification of assailants against reporter Dusan Miljus, the Interior Ministry said on its web site on Tuesday.
The decision replaces a previous reward of HRK 50,000.
Miljus, a reporter for the Jutarnji List daily, was beaten up by two unidentified assailants in front of his apartment building in Zagreb on 2 June 2008. Miljus, who has been reporting about the underworld and organised crime in Croatia for years, was seriously injured in the attack.
