The Croatian government approved at a conference call on Wednesday sending two Canadair planes to Bosnia and Herzegovina to help put out wildfires.

The two aircraft and two crews were sent to an area which is not suspected of being infested with leftover mines.

The government made the decision to use the Croatian Air Force for humanitarian aid based on the Government Act and the Defence Act, with the consent of the president of the Republic and military supreme commander.
