A total of 1,299,008 Croatians voted for accession to the European Union in Sunday's referendum, or 66.27 per cent of all eligible voters, while 649,490 voted against (33.13 per cent), the State Election Commission said on Monday after counting the ballots from all 6,750 polling stations.
There was 0.60 per cent of invalid ballots.
Croatia has 4,504,765 eligible voters. The referendum turnout was 43.51 per cent (1,960,231 voters).
