Investigators of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) on Wednesday interviewed for almost three hours referee Bruno Maric in the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) offices in Zagreb about the first match of the finals of the Croatian soccer cup in 2009 which the German police suspects of having been fixed.

Maric was the main referee of that match in which Dinamo beat Hajduk 3:0.

After the questioning, Maric did not want to answer questions from reporters who gathered in front of the HNS offices. He said that he would hold a news conference on the entire case later.

The HNS is to issue a statement following Maric's questioning by UEFA investigators.
