Tickets released on Thursday morning for the World Football Championship match between Croatia and Serbia scheduled for March 22 at Zagreb's Maksimir Stadium were sold out by 4 pm.
The Croatian Football Federation printed 35,000 tickets that went for the usual price as other matches in the qualifier rounds.
The Croatian National Football Federation (HNS) and the Football Federation of Serbia have agreed that there will be no organised large-scale transport of respective fans of the visiting national teams during the teams' matches this year.
According to a press release issued by the HNS on Thursday, the two federations decided to follow the guidelines of international umbrella football associations UEFA and FIFA, which have described Croatia-Serbia qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil as high-risk matches.
The first fixture is scheduled for 22 March in Zagreb and the return game is due on 6 September in Belgrade.
